🎣 TRIP REPORT: Three Generations of Tight Lines! (Sunday, June 21, 2026)

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a wonderful family of three aboard the Hallie Loren for a private charter—Grandfather, Son, and Grandson. There is nothing better than seeing three generations sharing the deck and making memories together on the water!

We headed out to the ocean grounds off Sandy Hook, and the fish were ready to cooperate. The rods stayed busy as the crew reeled in a great mixed bag of Black Sea Bass, Ling, and Fluke.

🌟 Special Highlight of the Day:

The star of the show was definitely little Christian! He managed to hook and land a beautiful Tautog (Blackfish)—his first one ever! Seeing that big smile on his face when it hit the deck is exactly what family fishing is all about.

The guys fished hard, handled the rods like pros, and went home with plenty of fresh bags of fillets to enjoy a fantastic fish dinner. Huge thanks to this awesome family for choosing us for their day on the water!

> 🦈 **SHARK REPORT: Tuesday, June 16, 2026** 🦈 
> We had Steve and Paul out today on the **Hallie Loren** for a dedicated shark trip. The ocean was absolutely beautiful, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.
> The action started with a big Thresher that rolled on the surface and made the reel scream! Unfortunately, shortly after the run, the main line parted way—clean break, almost like it was cut on something.
> Not long after, bite number two came a-knocking. It took a nice chunk of line but ended up spitting the hook before we could get eyes on it.
> The grand finale was a beautiful Mako. We watched it circle the slick for a while before it finally crashed the short line. We got it boat-side, used the dehooker for a clean, safe release, and watched it swim away strong.
