We had an incredibly special trip this weekend! Taylor reached out to surprise her dad for his 50th Birthday with a family fishing charter, and the bay absolutely cooperated for his big day.

From the first drift to the last, the action was steady. The family put on a clinic, landing over 50 Fluke along with a great mix of Black Sea Bass, skates, and Sea Robins. Everyone on board reeled in a bunch of fish, shared plenty of laughs, and made some fantastic birthday memories on the water.

A huge thank you to Taylor and the whole family for choosing us to celebrate such a milestone event!

Sunday July 12 Fluke Report: Hard Work Pays Off with a Nice Catch!

Fluking is picking up out there! On Sunday, we had an experienced bunch of fishermen on board who knew exactly what it takes to get the job done when the bite requires some grinding.

The guys worked incredibly hard today, weeding through a heavy short-to-keeper ratio—it was easily about 10 shorts to every 1 keeper. Thanks to their experience and persistence, they stayed on the fish and kept at it.

The Payoff:

• 7 Beautiful Keepers sitting on ice for dinner!

• Plenty of non-stop action with countless shorts keeping the rods bent all day.

The ocean fluke action is definitely heating up, and the fish are there if you're ready to put the work in.
