**SHARK REPORT: Tuesday, June 16, 2026** > We had Steve and Paul out today on the **Hallie Loren** for a dedicated shark trip. The ocean was absolutely beautiful, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.
> The action started with a big Thresher that rolled on the surface and made the reel scream! Unfortunately, shortly after the run, the main line parted way—clean break, almost like it was cut on something.
> Not long after, bite number two came a-knocking. It took a nice chunk of line but ended up spitting the hook before we could get eyes on it.
> The grand finale was a beautiful Mako. We watched it circle the slick for a while before it finally crashed the short line. We got it boat-side, used the dehooker for a clean, safe release, and watched it swim away strong.
