Hallie Loren Sportfishing: Sharking Report (June 10, 2026)
Longtime regular Jay was back on board for another solo charter today, and the shark action did not disappoint!
* **Bite #1:** Right out of the gate, we hooked into a solid **Thresher** that put on an aerial show, jumping clear out of the water before unfortunately coming unhooked.
* **Bite #2:** The second hit was a Big Thresher that slammed the short line. It immediately greyhounded, swam right under the boat, and managed to chafe off the mainline against the hull.
* **Bite #3:** Third time was the charm. A beautiful **Mako** hit, made a spectacular jump, and our mate Rich set the hook perfectly. Jay took the rod and fought the Mako like a pro all the way to the boat. After a few quick pictures in the water, she was safely released.
